Overview
Electrical Product Engineer - Power Equipment position at Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM). Responsibilities
Primary point of contact (POC) and subject matter expert (SME) for medium and/or low voltage power distribution products. Test and qualify new products and processes, and support their transition into manufacturing. Coordinate and manage new product introduction schedules and activities, and address cross-product issues throughout the product lifecycle. Organize, prepare, finalize and maintain documentation for production and commercial use. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and other internal departments to align Product Engineering activities. Coordinate with vendors for product maintenance, including obsolescence and redesign; develop action plans with internal teams to support maintenance needs. Provide engineering leadership throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications
Competency with medium voltage and/or low voltage switchgear design and manufacturing, including knowledge of standards (UL 67, 891, 1558, 1008; ANSI C37.20; NEC/CEC). Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work through ambiguity. Proven track record of cross-disciplinary teamwork. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $83,600.00 - $114,000.00 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Why Join IEM
