This position requires strong technical curiosity across many technologies, a desire for technical leadership, and the ability to learn and collaborate with others for business progress. The individual will understand the features of various measurement systems and confidently execute the quality goals of the team. As part of a global team, this role provides measurement solutions to deliver best-in-class products to customers. Key Responsibilities
Work closely with experienced professionals across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and other groups to define, develop, and implement measurement systems. Transfer measurement technology from early-stage development to a system ready for installation in a manufacturing environment. Develop and apply measurement system analysis techniques to ensure proper application and capability. Leverage external suppliers with key technologies or systems integration expertise to develop, procure, build, and install measurement systems in production facilities. Design experiments and analyze data to identify and implement measurement integrity and efficiency improvements for measurement systems or production processes. Develop and manage documentation in support of measurement system deployments, including machine specifications, operating procedures, and drawing packages. Train plant engineering, maintenance, and operations staff on use and maintenance of measurement systems. Support the establishment and maintenance of a safe work environment. Work Hours
Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am–5pm Flexible hours may be required to support weekends/evening operations Education & Experience - Required
BS in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics 3+ years of work experience in measurement science, measurement systems, or a related area Required Skills
Problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting and debugging industrial measurement systems Experience reading electrical, mechanical, and control schematics for industrial equipment Strong fundamentals in science and engineering Ability to work effectively in technical project teams in both leadership and team member roles Sound decision-making using analytical thinking, practical judgment, and available data Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently define problem hypotheses, design experiments, and evaluate data using scientific and statistical tools Ability to work with internal customers across multiple cultures to meet requirements Self-motivated with strong initiative Comfortable delivering updates to leadership on a routine basis Experience programming, preferably in C#, Python, and Windows scripting Desired Skills
Knowledge of integrating measurement systems into a global IT architecture Understanding of manufacturing principles and experience in a global manufacturing environment Experience with computer-based measurement or automation equipment, design, setup, and support Experience with Measurement Uncertainty Analysis (MSA, GR&R) and related analyses Experience using CAD for designing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Experience with advanced software for modeling or statistical analysis Experience programming and using machine learning algorithms This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The salary range for this position is $79,001.00 – $108,627.00 for full-time status. Starting pay depends on location, experience, training, and education.
