ABOUT THE ROLE
ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Austin Project Management team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects from design to completion with direct responsibility for project performance and customer satisfaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of a project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout
Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget
Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review scope of work, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees
Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors
Identify opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule
Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes of work, project schedule, and site logistics plan
Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors, and vendors to address constructability, sequencing, and manpower issues
Lead on-site meetings to review progress and address challenges with the client
Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports
Find ways to make the construction process engaging for clients, subcontractors, and vendors while maintaining quality and safety
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Engineering or related field
3-7 years of construction management or engineering design experience
Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects (preferred)
Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
