Manufacturing Test Engineer
to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Team Lead, Manufacturing Support, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the manufacturing process and test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality products with industry-leading service levels. As part of our Manufacturing Process Engineering team, you will exercise your software and hardware knowledge in supporting manufacturing systems across Autonomous Solutions product lines. Tucson, Arizona, United States . Responsibilities
As a
Manufacturing Test Engineer , your responsibilities include: Providing real-time support to in-house production and supplier manufacturing sites by investigating and resolving manufacturing test issues and preventing reoccurrence. Delivering advanced product troubleshooting support to production as needed. Enhancing manufacturing test solutions, including hardware and software. Monitoring test yields, investigating deviations, and taking corrective actions, including hardware/software improvements or process changes. Analyzing product updates and implementing necessary changes to manufacturing hardware or software. Defining, performing, and optimizing preventive maintenance of manufacturing hardware. Continuously improving support processes by addressing recurring issues. Providing off-hours support to remote manufacturing sites across time zones. Qualifications
Must-Have: Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics. 5+ years of relevant technical experience, including internships. Experience in C++ or C# software development. Experience with Python development. Ability to design, modify, and troubleshoot test hardware (electrical/mechanical). Effective communication skills in English. Valid passport and willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Ability to safely lift up to 15kg (33lb). Key Success Factors
Enjoys debugging and solving hardware/software issues, identifying root causes, and preventing recurrence. Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and seeking help when needed. Proactively seeks opportunities for improvement and participates in quality initiatives. Nice-to-Have:
Experience in production support or manufacturing environments. Lua/Linux software development experience. Lean manufacturing certification or experience.
