Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design Cisco and Aruba networking solutions tailored to K-12 environments and public sector environments. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, potential site walks, network assessments, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for customers. Assist in the development of proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), and network diagrams. Provide guidance on network architecture, security best practices, and wireless deployment strategies. Lead or assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba networking solutions, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Perform network assessments, optimizations, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security. Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to school IT staff. Serve as an escalation point for network-related issues and support tickets. Assist with general networking support, including diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, managing VLANs, and troubleshooting hardware failures. Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Required Skills/Abilities

Deep understanding of network protocols, VLANs, routing (OSPF, BGP), switching, and wireless technologies. Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, and Aruba Instant/AP platforms. Knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, and authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, NAC). Familiarity with K-12 network design best practices and E-Rate funding requirements. General networking support expertise, including DHCP, DNS, subnetting, and QoS configuration. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written/verbal communication, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions. Knowledge of cloud networking platforms (Cisco Meraki, Aruba Central). Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network operations. Familiarity with Channel tools like CCW and IRIS Education and Experience

Certifications: Cisco CCNP or Aruba ACMP/ACSP (or equivalent experience); CCIE or Aruba Expert-level certifications are a plus. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba networking solutions, including LAN/WAN, wireless, security, and cloud-based networking platforms. Physical Requirements

Ability to travel as required to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use office equipment, including computers and phones. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Office setting with occasional travel to customer sites, including industrial and commercial environments. Flexibility to work remotely, when necessary, with the expectation of occasional site visits for presentations, assessments, and training. Lift up to 25 pounds Travel
