The Field Service Representative is responsible for servicing the day to day operations of existing A0-A3 customers by ensuring customer satisfaction through effective inventory management, order processing and problem solving. The role will be measured primarily on account retention, profitability and share of wallet growth. As part of providing a high-level of customer satisfaction, the Field Service Representative will be the customer go to for all Ascentek services and products and working closely with Account Sales Executives to onboard new accounts. Order Processing Accurately, effectively and efficiently processes customer orders within established lead time parameters Follows a consistent routine entailing timely follow-up and good organizational skills Inventory Management and Account Servicing Utilizes inventory management processes and tools to help ensure (influence) that the right product is in the right place at the right time Monitors, checks, samples and manages customer inventory Fields customer calls; firefights and trouble-shoots customer issues/concerns Labels customer tanks accordingly Educating customers on proper products, storage, and handling Liaison between the customer and their OEM Ability to create and present proposals and TCO spreadsheet sheets Ability to visit 10-25 customers in a day Problem Solving Ability to get at root causes of problems and develops solutions to bring to resolution Input workorders for equipment and services Performance Analysis Ability to diagnose performance gaps and utilize reporting tools Ability to grow the book of business within customer base Ability to input data in Salesforce Ability to efficiently manage day to day customer needs along with customer visits Engagement in Ascentek events, meetings and community outreach Interpersonal Skills Ability to productively and positively influence through written and verbal communication skills Ability to build relationships and win customer trust through fulfillment of commitments and proactive actions that demonstrate a win/win mindset Acts honestly, is transparent and keeps commitments Collaborates and communicates well with all Ascentek Account Sales Executives, Operations, and internal departments Committed to exceeding customer expectations aligned with Ascentek\'s customer experience goals Education and Experience
Education: Minimum High School, Preferred Bachelor or technical degree; Business, Communications 1-3 years of sales and/or service-related experience Microsoft Excel [Advanced] Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills Strong time management Drivers License and mode of transportation Physical and Mental Demands
This role requires continuous speaking and listening skills on a daily basis. This role will require a significant amount of walking, standing and moving in and out of vehicles and buildings which will include bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. The employee will be required to travel via an automobile throughout each day. Working Environment
This role will encounter the elements of the seasons and working in mechanic shops with equipment, loud noises and possibly slippery conditions. Protective equipment such as closed toe shoes, safety goggles or hard hats may be required depending on accounts safety requirements.
