We are looking for a Sr. QE Automation Engineer – Hybrid Roles in Oakland, CA (1 day a week).
Location : Hybrid roles in Oakland, CA; in-person interviews for local candidates only.
Duration : 12+ months with possibility of longer term extensions
Pay Rate : $67/hr on W2

Role
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automated test frameworks for microservices and web applications. Develop and maintain test scripts using Rest Assured for API testing and Selenium for UI testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Maintain documentation related to test cases, test results, and automation frameworks. Continuously improve test automation practices and tools. Must-Have Qualifications and Skills
Rest Assured Framework for testing Java-based microservices. Selenium with Java for UI automation. Strong understanding of Java programming and object-oriented design. Experience with test automation in CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions). Familiarity with tools like TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle. Hands-on experience in automation testing of Java-based microservices using Rest Assured and UI automation using Selenium with Java. Experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO). 5+ years of experience in test automation. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure). Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Familiarity with containerization tools (Podman, Kubernetes). Seniority level
