What You Will Do

Develop test hardware and software, from requirements definition through build and integration processes, followed by deployment to manufacturing or customer facilities. Design, support and integration skill sets may include multiple disciplines in communications, RF, analog, digital, firmware, as well as systems integration. In-depth knowledge of computer architecture, COTS equipment, interconnects/interfaces and standard communication protocols. Proven skills in software development and integration using tools including NI TestStand, LabVIEW and/or LabWindows (CVI). Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to enable effective collaboration with a multi-discipline team. Examples include defining and leading a Preliminary and Detailed Design Review. Prepare and clearly present your work product at project status meetings. Understand and take responsibility to meet established project budget, schedule, and performance commitments. Collaborate with mechanical engineering to design and develop test adapters and fixturing; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus. Operate autonomously with limited supervision as an individual contributor within a multi-functional team. Support Manufacturing operations, including on-site troubleshooting and debugging, both independently and with production and design engineering teams. Qualifications You Must Have

Minimum of 2-3 years of engineering design and development experience, preferably related to Test equipment development. Experience transitioning automated solutions to production environments, delivering hardware and software deliverables and providing on-site training to final operators. Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Qualifications We Prefer

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and comfort working both independently and in a team; strong technical writing skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio). Experience with National Instruments software suite, including TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW. Hardware station design involving rack instrumentation, PXIe/MXI, VME, etc. Experience with Digital, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware and/or software design. Understanding of engineering processes such as CMMI, Six Sigma. What We Offer
