Environmental Aide I - St. Peter's Hospital - Part Time - Days The goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in keeping with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners. We are looking for the right candidate to join our Environmental Services team. If you are energetic and seeking opportunities for growth and development, this is the position for you. Responsibilities
Thorough room cleaning: follow all processes as designated by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned, and in a timely manner. Comply with infection control policies and procedures. Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families and fellow staff. Respond pleasantly to all requests. Communicate to Housekeeping Supervisor any problems encountered while performing daily routines. Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director. Perform functions, duties, and carry out responsibilities of housekeeping. Follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate basic computational skills appropriate for high school level. Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds; possess a basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing. Qualifications
Minimum requirements as listed in job posting include ability to perform cleaning tasks and adhere to safety and infection control policies. Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $16.20 - $19.74. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location. We offer great benefits including competitive pay, paid leave, shift differentials, just to name a few. Work Type and Shift
