Qualifications
Completed an approved master’s level training in Medical Physics as approved by the American Association of Medical Physicists.
Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Current State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation-Therapeutic Radiological Physicist certification.

Responsibilities TMH is seeking an experienced medical physicist to join our radiation oncology team at the comprehensive cancer center in Tallahassee, Florida.
This full-time, clinical position requires a proactive physicist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a team. The physicist will participate in all aspects of radiotherapy, quality assurance, and the integration of new equipment and techniques. The team currently treats approximately 80 patients daily, with support from 3 radiation oncologists, 2.5 physicists, and 4.5 dosimetrists.
Our treatment modalities include IGRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT, and HDR/LDR brachytherapy, utilizing Varian accelerators (including a Novalis Tx and two Clinac iX units), GammaMedplus HDR afterloader, and a GE Discovery RT CT simulator. Our software suite includes Aria, Eclipse, iPlan, Velocity, and Sun Nuclear QA equipment. The center is upgrading to the latest Linac technology from Varian.
