Senior Project Structural Engineer responsible for designing structures using structural steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete, timber and masonry in accordance with current standards and codes, with emphasis on low-rise buildings. Responsible for ensuring delegated projects are completed on time and within budget.

Design and develop contract documents for structural engineering projects, including plans, technical specifications, reports, structural cost estimates and other relevant project types including new structures and rehabilitation of existing steel and concrete structures Manage project development, scheduling, proposals and budgeting Review and approve construction documents such as shop drawings, RFIs, Change Orders and equivalent substitutions Perform plan reviews in accordance with the Michigan Building Code Seal and sign project documents Perform routine and detailed inspections for various types of structures Maintain a good relationship with the client during and after the project to promote client loyalty and secure future work Requirements
Experience troubleshooting Revit questions and project issues Experience with Revit family creation Written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects at once Effective communication skills and a positive attitude Please note, this role may not encompass all of the points listed here.
