Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians. Manage diverse and challenging projects across our portfolio of design services and EPC programs. Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule. Support client interaction, proposals, and business development. The Team

Develops and manages budget, schedule, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines for assigned projects. Actively manages project changes with the Client in coordination with the Project Manager. Reviews lower-level engineering work, coordinates multi-discipline activity, and may serve as the engineer of record for assigned projects. Develops good working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff. Communicates client interests and drivers to the project team and develops approaches to meet these concerns in the work. Provides support to business development and pursuit activities. Occasional travel to support site visits, design reviews, and client meetings. Adheres to Black and Veatch quality program and ensures client and industry standards are maintained on assigned projects. Provides guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members. Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services overhead transmission line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United States. Eight years of experience in design of high voltage overhead transmission lines with knowledge of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and overall project lifecycle. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with Clients to grow relationships. Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards. Working knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction support. Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates. P.E. license highly preferred. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in the home country or the country of practice. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) as applicable by law and regulation. Certifications

Most positions require professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration. Additional licensure may be required when practicing in another country. Exceptions may be approved by division management on a case-by-case basis. Work Environment/Physical Demands
