STV . STV has an immediate need in either our Charlotte, NC, or Morrisville, NC offices for a Carolinas Hydraulic Leader. The successful candidate will: Check stormwater management reports and plans for roadway, transit, rail, and culvert/bridge projects. Perform quality control for hydrologic & hydraulic studies, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. Coordinate permitting through water management agencies. Participate in project development meetings with clients. Mentor technical staff. Establish working relationships and interface with client technical staff and project managers. Experience with green stormwater, erosion, and sediment control techniques is a plus. Responsibilities include: Using hydrologic and hydraulic software such as Geopak Drainage, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS to review work by technical staff. Developing strategies for hydro growth and project delivery, including resource allocation and work planning for traditional and design-build projects. Strong interpersonal skills for client and other engineering discipline interactions. Knowledge and experience with NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and local government design and permitting requirements. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Biological, Agricultural, or related discipline). Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Water Resources and Storm Water Design Engineering, including storm drain and culvert design, stormwater management, BMPs, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain studies, and cost estimating. NC PE license is required. Compensation Range:
