Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer (Mid-Level or Lead)
to join the team in
Hill AFB, UT
or
Layton, UT . This role supports sustainment in GN&C, performance analysis, simulation, Nuclear Hardness and Survivability, and inertial instruments, with visibility into GN&C and simulation methods across Boeing. Position Responsibilities
Gather system level requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), sustainment requirements definition Perform and document analysis of GN&C systems, simulations, models and tools Support reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to meet customer requirements Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products and incidents Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to sustain or surpass End of Life (EOL) Work independently or under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required)
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent Experience or coursework in Control Systems or GN&C system design Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience or equivalent Experience with simulation or system/component modeling Experience with Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques Experience implementing algorithms in real-time systems Experience with auto-coding of software Experience or coursework using Matlab/Simulink, MatrixX or similar tools Experience or coursework in programming languages such as C, C++, Ada Other Information
