Responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide routine cleaning and decluttering in designated hospital areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Sanitize hospital areas using approved tools and routines, which vary by location, such as patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, hallways, nurses’ stations, waiting areas, and restrooms. Use proper chemicals, procedures, and equipment for thorough cleaning and disinfection. Restock supplies in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms, including soap, paper towels, bath tissue, facial tissue, bath linens, bed linens, and cleaning supplies. Learn and follow proper disposal techniques for all medical waste, including biological or biohazard waste like bodily fluids and sharps. Maintain a patient, kind, and personable attitude in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications Preferred Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning preferred.
