Safety Engineer

Direct message the job poster from CNA Search We are hiring for a Quality Engineer. This is 100% onsite, and you must be a local candidate. Only US or Green card holders, no 3rd parties, and no other visa will be accepted (sorry) You have must have strong Labview, Python, Firmware, and Leadership Experience. Again you must live in Austin and 100% onsite. Create proposed test plans and test coverage reports and review them with the engineering team Lead the production test design efforts while gathering input from all relevant stakeholders Write automated production test code in LabVIEW, C or Python Create, or define requirements for schematics and PCBs for automated test fixtures Address production issues related to automated test systems already in use Perform tester performance analysis like repeatability, reproducibility, and test uncertainty ratios Use basic statistical analysis to set production test limits Provide design requirement and review the mechanical design of production test fixtures Create documentation for production operators describing how to use and troubleshoot production testers and provide support as needed Keep revision-controlled design files for all the production testers Get buy-in from the engineering team and production representatives to support proposed automated test solutions Acquire and process data, through automated or manual tests, to help build confidence in proposed solutions Qualifications Engineering degree in electrical engineering or computer science or related discipline Minimum 2-year relevant experience writing code in C on embedded systems Minimum 2-year experience working with schematic and PCB design tools Minimum 2-year working experience with common bench-top instruments (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) Seniority level
