Tooling Engineer

with hands-on experience in stamping, forging, extrusion, or other press-based metal manufacturing environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the production floor and is ready to grow their skills in CAD, 3D scanning, and tooling process improvement. Compensation

This range is provided by Systematic Business Consulting. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range:

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Develop 2D/3D CAD drawings from 3D scanned measurement data Use new 3D scanning technology to measure die and product dimensions (training provided) Compare scanned models to original CAD designs Utilize Hexagon CMM arm for precision measurement Support tooling and die improvement projects with CAD/CAM tools Manage parts inventory and tooling documentation Improve bolster/retainer quality, cost, and tool life Collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and quality teams Assist with vendor visits to review tooling quality and improvements Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred Associate’s degree with 3–4+ years of experience also considered 1–3+ years in die/tooling engineering within stamping, forging, or extrusion industries Experience with NX or Catia CAD software strongly preferred Hands-on experience with tooling or press equipment required Comfortable working on the shop floor, not just at a desk Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office tools Employment details
