Are you a Certified Welding Inspector seeking a challenging opportunity to grow your career with a firm committed to our employees and providing high-quality service to our clients? S&ME is looking for a dedicated full-time Certified Welding Inspector to join our Construction Services team in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities
Conduct inspections: Perform advanced NDT/NDE techniques, including ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MT).
Lead projects: Oversee and guide testing assignments across multiple projects to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain equipment: Calibrate testing equipment and participate in quality system audits.
Document findings: Generate clear and comprehensive reports to communicate results effectively.
Perform fieldwork: Climb steel structures up to 200+ feet with fall protection and safety gear.
About You (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of NDT/NDE metals testing experience OR an associate degree in a related field.
Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
Level II UT certification.
ASNT Level II certification per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A in at least one method.
Additional certifications (preferred but not required):
ICC Building/Structural Steel Inspection
Level II PT or MT certifications
Experience with Safety, DDC, NDT, or Radiation Training
