The Production Superintendent position is primarily responsible for managing the day to day field operations. This includes the managing, training and supervision of pumpers, roustabouts and contractors. This role will require the verification of production numbers and allocations daily, supervision of all construction and maintenance crews, working with I&E department on scada or communication issues, planned facility maintenance and the ability to plan, budget and execute individual projects like commingling older wells, upgrading flares or emission control systems and decommissioning of outdated or decommissioned facilities. This role will report directly to the EVP and will work alongside the production engineer and other management positions.

Essential Job Functions
Position will require candidate to work out of our field office in Orla, TX
Managing all pumpers, roustabouts and contractors
Design and supervise the construction and commissioning of new or modified production facilities and batteries
Stay up to date with EPA and TRRC emission compliance regulations and ensure all of Capitan's facilities remain compliant
Hire and train pumpers, roustabouts and other field personnel
Verify and correct(if needed) daily production reports
Keep track of costs and spending
Understanding of commingled batteries and ensure that all testing and allocating is done timely and correctly
Capable of monitoring production trends on scada
Understanding of artificial lift methods and troubleshooting
Able to make decisions based on economics and able to budget annual OPEX costs
Knowledge & Skills
Interact in a friendly and professional manner with all levels of staff
Effective multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills
Ability to handle high-volume workload
Able to be in the field, or field office, daily
Understanding TRRC and EPA rules and regulations
Competent in facility design and construction
Education / Experience
At least 10 years in oil and gas, specifically production operations
