seal and
wellhead/tree equipment subject matter expert Wellhead elastomer seal analysis
and design subject matter expert Tasks and Deliverables: • Read and understand and customer specifications related to product engineering • Perform finite element analysis on assemblies with seal elements • Specify materials and geometries for metal annulus seals and associated features • Write and review qualification test procedures. • Support qualification tests within the Houston area. • Support troubleshooting of manufacturing and test issues and recommend solutions • Provide expertise and guidance on
wellhead seals
to less experienced employees. Success Measurements : • Successful PR2F and customer qualification test of new wellhead system seal • Completion of all design verification and validation documents for the new seal • Multiple products/projects working in parallel" Experience and Skills: • 15+ years Oil & Gas industry experience, including experience with API 6A and/or API 17D • Widely recognized subject matter expertise with finite element analysis and wellhead seals (Ansys) • Demonstrable prior experience developing new metal seals for wellhead annulus applications • Understanding of vendor capabilities for metal and elastomeric seals. • Proficient in ANSYS • Proficient in typical Microsoft applications, Outlook, Word, Excel • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and sourcing personnel • Ability to follow process map and procedures. • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once Seniority level
