Responsibilities
Leads electrical design of multi-discipline projects.
Provides technical design on projects and solutions to engineering and technical challenges
Designs electrical systems for facilities projects including water/wastewater treatment, commercial, federal, DOD, utility, and industrial facilities
Prepares calculations and analyses of electrical and lighting systems
Review designs for quality assurance.
Mentor junior engineers.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients and project managers.
Review contractor submittals and respond to questions during construction.
Perform site visits during design or construction when needed.
Additional responsibilities as needed
Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Professional Engineer (PE) registration
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience required 5-8 years preferred
Experience with design of automotive manufacturing, tire manufacturing, and water/wastewater treatment a plus
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
Revit proficiency is preferred
Knowledge of SKM or ETAP for Electrical Studies.
Knowledge of AGI32 for lighting photometric calculations.
