ATI is seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the ATI Specialty Materials business unit. This position will be based in Monroe, NC. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will drive best practices in business principles across ATI by working in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Design, Capital Investments, and General Manufacturing. Responsibilities: Develop mechanical and/or electrical designs to support the business. Generate supporting models, drawings, and other documentation to define a design. Lead and/or support the execution of Capital and Major Maintenance Programs. Support general manufacturing improvements. Interpret detailed construction and mechanical drawings. Develop project scope, schedule, budget, and benefits. Communicate effectively and influence at all levels of the organization to foster collaboration.
