System Engineer role at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A). Responsibilities
Derive an understanding of system requirements from stakeholder needs. Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces. Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository. Apply system engineering principles in the development of system requirements, functional requirements and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components. To be eligible for this position, the following experience and qualifications are requested. Required Years of Experience and Education
Advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) with typically 14+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., PhD + 9 years, Master + 12 years). ABET accreditation is preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with active polygraph. Providing technical direction for development, interfacing, integration, and testing of components of complex software systems, including requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, system requirements reviews, concepts of operation, interface standards, system architectures, and technical assessment. Implementing DoDAF-based architectures (operational view, technical standards view, system and services view). Reviewing and approving system engineering documentation to ensure processes and specifications meet needs. Developing system engineering documentation (e.g., System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents). Managing and ensuring technical integrity of the system baseline throughout lifecycle. Developing operational concepts and scenarios describing system-user-environment interactions. Desired Qualifications
Experience as an Agile SCRUM Master. Experience in Agile software development environments. Experience generating technical documentation. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Telework/Remote Availability
Hybrid work authorized, up to 16 hours per week (depending on team and workflow). Work Location

Base pay range:
$167,000 - $180,000 per year. Summary Pay Range:
