About the Role Working alongside the operational team, the
Reliability and Continuous Improvement Engineer
will be responsible for identifying and developing new reliability opportunities for the client in line with standard practices and a structured problem solving approach. You will establish effective working relationships internally and client facing, along with supply partners and partner manufacturers to develop specific product and service opportunities and attend regular review meetings with the client to present project progress, potential savings and project success. You will play a key role in the delivery of the contractual agreement with each client and their sites.
Compensation:
$107K - $130K

Must Haves
Degree qualified in Engineering
Experienced in reliability engineering & asset management
Minimum 5 years in heavy industry
Key Responsibilities
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Analyze and document processes to facilitate an increase in available maintenance wrench time.
Assess spare part and asset criticality.
Continuous improvement analysis to determine root cause(s) of equipment failures.
Process efficiency studies to increase maintenance wrench time.
Bill of material development to support maintenance planning and determining inventory relevancy.
Part standardization and re-engineering to reduce risks of supply disruption, reduce costs and improve part reliability.
Develop bill of materials linking parts to assets to support maintenance planning and determining inventory relevancy.
Standardize, commercialize and re-engineer parts (both OEM and commodity), to reduce risks of supply disruption, reduce costs and improve part reliability.
Spare part assessment to determine part and asset criticality.
Analyze MRO transactional and inventory data to identify, develop and prioritize actionable opportunities that deliver value.
Work with customer’s change management processes to determine the approach to implement recommendations.
Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodology to analyze current processes and develop recommendations for improvements.
Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of new processes and quantify benefit to customer.
Prepare submittal documentation that quantifies current and future states, implementation plan, risk mitigation and net benefits for opportunities identified and presented.
Candidate Requirements
Strong Technical Writing Skills
Knowledge of GMP requirements; ability to effectively create a vision for change and build consensus among stakeholders to ensure success.
Strong presentation skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of management
Takes initiative and is self-motivated
Comfortable working in a consulting relation with the customer
Solid working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and parts
Working knowledge of CMMS software (knowledge of Maximo a plus)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Professional Engineering License preferred
Certified Reliability Manager (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
Willing to travel up to 50%
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance and/or reliability
5+ years working with Microsoft Project or similar project planning software
