Senior Packaging Engineer
Kimberly‑Clark is looking for a senior packaging engineer to drive innovation, improve packaging quality, and support sustainable growth across its consumer product brands.
In This Role
Lead tactical packaging engineers to develop new product introductions, launches, and process rollovers.
Evaluate packaging specifications based on product nature, cost limits, legal requirements, and protection needs.
Support Strategic Business Plans and Operational Plans for the next 1–5 years and provide technical direction for business plan development.
Act as a packaging subject‑matter expert and consultant for cross‑functional, multi‑level teams on a wide range of package projects.
Understand the consumer, customer, and competitive environment to ensure consistency, brand equity, and category growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of packaging engineering experience, preferably in consumer products.
Advanced knowledge of packaging development, processes, and systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execute multiple complex projects and influence decisions across multiple functions.
Ability to conceptualize ideas and transform them into packaging structures and specifications, including testing procedures.
Working knowledge of Kimberly‑Clark packaging materials, specifications, procedures, and equipment.
Experience working within diaper and/or garment categories is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the work time if required.
