Skills may be gained through experience or academic coursework. Qualifying education, coursework, and/or experience may have been gained concurrently. Design and execute experiments to characterize photonic and electronic integrated circuits. Collaborate with the design teams to incorporate test results into improved designs. Develop automated wafer and chip test stations for accurate and repeatable data acquisition. Integrate and automate commercial hardware platforms for use in test platforms. Design, evaluate, and improve custom hardware using computer-aided design (CAD) software and rapid prototyping tools. Support the adaptation of the test station from the R&D phase into high-volume manufacturing test platforms. Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Carries out tasks/ activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments.#LI-DNI Domestic travel up to 10% required. International travel up to 10% required. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of New York, NY may be permitted up to 40%.
