Hearing Associates of Dothan
Overview
Hearing Associates of Dothan, LLC is a patient-centered audiology practice seeking an Audiologist to join our team. This full-time role focuses on using Au.D. training across research, diagnostics, treatment, and preservation. We currently have two full-time audiologists and are looking to add another team member who is comfortable with diagnostic testing for both pediatrics and adults, hearing aid counseling, fitting and evaluation, cochlear implant management, auditory processing disorders, and auditory training. Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic testing for adults and children, including audiometry, immittance, DPOAEs, and speech-in-noise testing.
Perform cochlear implant evaluations and mappings (training available if needed).
Select and fit hearing aids for pediatrics and adults, including programming, verification, and counseling.
Conduct auditory processing evaluations for pediatrics and adults with rehabilitation/auditory training.
Develop and implement an aural rehabilitation plan; provide tinnitus evaluations with management and counseling.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic hearing health care.
Maintain Alabama licensure and adhere to professional standards.
Qualifications
Alabama license required.
Full-time (36 hours per week) preferred; part-time (24–28 hours per week) considered.
Motivated, outgoing, and charismatic audiologist who enjoys team-based work and making an impact in the field.
About the Practice Hearing Associates of Dothan is an established practice serving Dothan and Enterprise, Alabama since 2009. Our two experienced audiologists are committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and collaboration with other health care providers. We operate in two locations, serving Veterans, Assisted Living facilities, and school systems.
