Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital. Department: LMH Pharmacy. Status: Variable Full-Time (37 hours/week). Schedule: Rotating 5-2 schedule (5 days on, 2 days off; 2 days on, 5 days off). Hours example: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Position
Title: Clinical Staff Pharmacist. Location: Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital. The new Lake Mary Hospital represents Orlando Health’s ongoing commitment to the Seminole County community, offering a full scope of services in a modern facility with acute-care capabilities. Responsibilities
Performs basic pharmacist procedures in the assigned area consistent with scientific principles and Orlando Health policies. Dispenses medications and intravenous fluids using the medication dispensing system according to policy and procedures. Documents on appropriate forms and in systems in accordance with guidelines and quality improvement programs. Demonstrates competency in health-system pharmacy practice, including pharmacotherapy, patient care, distributive services, drug information, and practice management. Plans, organizes, executes, and monitors pharmaceutical care plans. Performs pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetics consultations and other clinical responsibilities as applicable at the site of practice (e.g., TPN initiation and monitoring). Evaluates and addresses appropriate alerts (e.g., IV to PO, renal dosing protocols). Reports and investigates adverse drug reactions and medication errors; documents accordingly. Participates in multidisciplinary rounds if applicable at the site of practice. Maintains regular, punctual attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies and applicable laws and standards. Education/Training:
Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) required. Licensure/Certification:
Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, renewed every two years. Experience:
