Overview
We are seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In this role, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the female reproductive system, ensuring the well-being of patients. Responsibilities
Conduct physical examinations and evaluate medical histories. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds and blood work. Develop and implement patient care plans. Perform surgical procedures, including C-sections and hysterectomies. Provide prenatal care and monitor the health of both mother and fetus. Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, such as endometriosis and ovarian cysts. Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, and contraception options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid state medical license to practice in New York. Demonstrated experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate patient care. Clinic Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2 days per week L+D Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 1 day per week Deliveries Per Year: 1000 Procedures Required: GYN surgeries Support Staff: MFM, Gyn Oncologist, CNM, attendings, residents Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary + RVUs Comprehensive benefits package Medical malpractice with tail
