Architectural Project Manager
to grow our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Los Angeles office. At GFT, our architecture team shapes innovative, sustainable, and aesthetically striking structures. You will collaborate with a diverse group of industry experts and our in-house engineering teams to deliver projects that positively impact communities. What You Will Do
What You Will Do
includes leading client-facing projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget, mentoring junior architects, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. The studio leader will review your professional goals to establish a career track for growth within the organization. Responsibilities
Client-first focus with the aim of deepening relationships Serve as primary contact with client Lead project presentations Manage project scope, schedule and budget Produce high-quality work products Oversee and mentor architectural design staff Research client requirements including program, guidelines, and standards Perform comprehensive code and product research Lead projects from initial survey, design through construction Develop design concepts and presentations that express project goals Develop technical details with coordination across engineering disciplines Coordinate work of all disciplines Supervise preparation of project specifications and Front-End Documents Supervise review of shop drawings and construction progress Prepare proposals in response to RFQ/RFP and client presentations Education | Experience
What You Will Bring To Our Firm Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Licensed architect in the State of California 10+ years of experience in Architectural Project Management Ability to obtain other architectural licenses in other states Strong resume of California public-sector project experience is required Experience with public building types such as transportation and public works facilities is desired Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Effective writing, communication, and detail-oriented design skills Professional public speaking skills Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively on multiple projects In-depth knowledge of California State Building Code, IBC, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards Compensation
The salary range for this role is 115K - 145,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Benefits
