Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $47.00/hr The position will participate in simulation planning with design and other simulation engineers. This may involve running simulations of the systems to predict performance. The position makes sure simulations are executed properly. The position will then analyze the data and create summary reports with results and recommendations. Much of the day will be spent using 3D CFD software (STARCCM+ or Converge), building physics-based models in addition to analyzing results. Time will also be spent attending team meetings and documenting and reporting results to clients. Education & Experience Required:
PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or MS degree with 3+ years of related work experience. The candidate must have performed fluid dynamics and thermal simulations as a part of their graduate studies or as part of a prior job in industry. No other degrees will be accepted. Top 3 Skills
Experience using STAR-CCM+ or Converge CFD software. Knowledge of engine systems and components. Experience with 1D simulation tools like GT-suite or Amesim. Experience with CAD modeling tools like PTC Creo. Soft Skills (Required)

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$45.00 - $47.00 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
