MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE. Responsibilities
Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as a Manufacturing Engineer. This requirement covers the assignment to, and the performance of a Manufacturing Engineering Planning team. Responsible for creation and maintenance of the Manufacturing Bill of Material and Order Bill of Material. Analyze engineering drawings, models, specifications, process, policies and procedures to determine and plan the practical operations and sequence, required to produce comprehensive work instructions and support documents to one or more groups. Qualifications
Must be experienced in standard manufacturing planning process and procedures. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other applicable references. Demonstrate a technical writing aptitude. Possess strong communication skills, organization, scheduling and time management skills. Ability to utilize computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM along with model-based engineering systems; iBASEt, Teamcenter and 3DX. Experience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM). Understanding of systems including SAP and SFM. Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.
