Overview
(Tire & Lube Tech) Automotive General Service Technician – entry level Automotive Technician position with Monro. Starting day 1 you will begin a comprehensive mechanic training program and perform maintenance services on guest vehicles as part of a collaborative team delivering 5 Star Guest experiences. Compensation
Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $17.00/hr. Pay may include incentives; additional compensation and an hourly flat rate up to $2 extra per hour may apply based on experience. Pay will be determined based on experience level. Responsibilities
Mechanic duties including changing, mounting, and installing tires Wheel removal, tire repair and balance, tire patch/plug repairs Lubrication and oil change (quick lube type duties) Inspect and rotate tires Basic automotive maintenance such as battery installation Training to perform alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance services Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
HS diploma or GED equivalent Automotive experience Own basic set of mechanic tools or participate in tool purchase program Valid driver’s license Must be at least 18 years of age Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications
