What you’ll do
Assist in the development of the powertrain and drive system integration for Scout pickup trucks and rugged SUVs (BEV/EREV)
Be part of the vision of engineering excellence and be a knowledge source
Define requirements and design functions
Calibrate and create, with collaboration, a Scout-specific driving experience for cross-team contributions
REx: Modify vehicle and powertrain calibration of emissions and emission-related components
Liaise with powertrain hardware and chassis tuning teams to provide technical input
Coordinate and contribute to prototype and serial development: software availability, calibration test trips, data collection, data analysis, and technical reporting to support software releases
Collaborate with concept & systems architect teams to solve engineering and functional challenges
Hands-on prototyping and building capability from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software
Contribute to related tasks/activities as needed
Location & Travel Expectations
This role is based in Novi, Michigan
Attendance in office with in-person meetings and events is required
Occasional travel to participate in events may be necessary

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, IT systems, or Engineering Technology (preferably electrical engineering)
5+ years in concept engineering or serial development, calibration and validation of software functions, and experience with ETAS and Matlab
Experience in calibration processes, calibration on test benches and cars, integrating data in alignment with system engineering and release processes
Experience with emission calibration on ICE engines and testing of drive system functionalities
Experience evaluating and assessing emission results and related components
Ability to read Simulink flow diagrams and C-programming code
Motivated engineer eager to work at the cutting edge of EV design, with hands-on testing
Strong interpersonal skills: ownership, self-motivation, problem solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, and ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
