Field Engineer

RK&K is looking for a self-motivated, Field Engineer in our Raleigh, NC office to work on local municipal projects. As a Field Engineer II with RK&K you will support civil construction projects from start to completion related to highway, roadway, bridge and related facilities. Essential Function Coordination of a variety of construction projects to consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design of public or private utilities, structures, machines, equipment, processes, transportation systems and work systems Communication with internal team and external clients Accurate logging of activities on work site Running point on inspections of roadway and bridges Assisting with inspections and other on-site meetings Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management/science 2-7 years of experience in Construction Inspection or Construction Management Ability to coordinate simultaneous tasks Proficiency in communicating technical information Effective verbal and written communication skills Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
