Work on a variety of projects including roadway projects, surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage analysis and design, flood studies, and bridge hydraulics. Prepare hydraulic and hydrology studies, drainage areas maps, storm sewer networks, stormwater management facilities, drainage reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for highway and site civil. Prepare and submit local, state and/or federal stormwater permit applications for highway design and site/civil design projects. Qualifications
Experience - A minimum of 5 years of drainage design experience for highway and/or site civil projects required; Florida DOT drainage experience is highly preferred. Experience with StormWise (formerly ICPR), HEC-RAS, or other similar hydrologic/hydraulic analysis design software for highway and/or site/civil projects. Licenses & Certifications - Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Technical Skills & Knowledge - Proficiency in MicroStation, ORD, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software. Project & Client Management - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, effective time management Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Industries: Construction
