Assistant Project Manager (APM)

to join their growing Nashville team and support the successful delivery of complex, high-visibility projects. Position Overview

The

Assistant Project Manager

plays an integral role in supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent throughout all phases of construction. This position assists with project planning, documentation, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordination—ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding company standards of quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and cost reports. Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to ensure timely communication and issue resolution. Maintain project documentation and records in

Procore

(or equivalent project management software). Help prepare and distribute meeting minutes, progress reports, and project correspondence. Participate in jobsite meetings and coordinate field activities with the Superintendent. Monitor project safety compliance and quality standards. Assist with project buyout, procurement, and subcontractor contract administration. Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction with a General Contractor. Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project delivery. Proficient in

Procore ,

Sage , and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
