The role involves designing and improving manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling within plant facilities.

The Technical Part:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Electrical) with two (2) years of exposure within the Medical Devices Industry
Bi-lingual: Spanish and English
Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork
Shift: 1st shift and according to business needs
Experience in:
Process Validation and Computerized Systems Validations
CAD design proficiency
Microsoft Excel

As a piece of FITS, you will
Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling
Design the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout
Design the sequence of operations and specify procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment, and related functions
Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions
Include inspection and test requirements into the production plan as appropriate
Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions as needed
Develop manufacturing processes applying statistical process control where applicable
Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques
Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations
