CEO: Oliver Carol Recruitment - Manufacturing & Technology Recruitment (USA | UK | Brazil Offices) & CEO: Christian Jobs (christianjobs.co.uk).
(Onsite role – no constant travel. Just real engineering work.) Salary : Up to $150,000 base, additional bonus, private healthcare, 401k Location : South Carolina Relocation : If needed, we have a budget for supporting relocation from within the United States Let’s be honest. If you’re the kind of Controls Engineer who wants to hide behind corporate sign-offs before making a decision, this isn’t your job. This is an onsite role, in a 24/7 food & beverage plant that’s just had a serious injection of investment – new equipment, new production lines, new people. In other words, lots of change. The kind that actually moves the dial, not just keeps the lights on. You’ll be the one making local controls decisions – without waiting for HQ to tell you what button to press. That’s autonomy. Scary for some. Exciting for others. The shift? Mostly first shift. But now and again, you may need to support other shifts if things get lively. Travel? Minimal. Maybe you’re tired of living in hotel rooms and want more evenings at home. If so, this might suit you. What you’ll need: Solid Allen-Bradley experience (non-negotiable). Beckhoff PLC would be handy. Robotics controls (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa – that sort of thing). A track record of supporting, troubleshooting, and improving production assets. Experience of working within an FDA-regulated F&B manufacturing facility This isn’t a role for someone who wants a quiet life. The plant is busy, the pace is fast, and the expectations are high. But if you like making things run better, faster, safer – and you want to be part of a site on the up – then this is the kind of challenge worth considering.
