The Cognitive and Generative-AI Engineering team, within the Enterprise Data and Information Management (EDIM) department, designs and implements advanced AI systems to enhance and scale AI adoption across the organization. This role leads the AI Center for Enablement by guiding AI Engineering talent and AI Operations, fostering collaboration with business partners and technology teams, operationalizing the Enterprise AI Anchor Platform, and enabling a value-driven AI program across the organization. The successful candidate will provide delivery and ongoing support for the client’s data science, advanced analytics, and augmented intelligence technologies, executing the strategic vision and ensuring effective AI initiatives with strong communication, technical leadership, and organizational skills. They will assist in coordinating strategic program delivery across EDIM disciplines and serve as a subject matter expert on complex initiatives and project teams. Responsibilities
Lead Enterprise AI Center for Enablement and align services with client strategic goals and transformation objectives. Partner with senior EDIM, technology product, and engineering leaders to shape and evolve AI Center For Enablement capabilities. Lead technology strategy and roadmap development to drive data and AI modernization. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Native Engineering, and Microsoft support to build and operationalize the AI Anchor Platform as a Service (Model Garden and Control Plane) using Azure and OpenAI technologies. Manage AI Engineering and Operations teams, fostering upskilling to design, deploy, and scale Generative-AI solutions. Oversee AI standards and guardrails to ensure secure, ethical, and responsible AI practices. Ensure adherence to broader EDIM standards and enterprise architectural standards. Coordinate AI Operational Governance with AI Strategy, AI Working Group, Model Risk Management, and Cyber Security teams for secure AI practices, explainability, and auditability. Support machine-ready Knowledge Management Engineering and improve AI accuracy with data quality metrics and domain adaptation techniques like RAG. Drive and enable AI products across the organization with strong adoption and measurable impact. Coach AI Engineering and AI Operations teams to sustain high performance and continuous improvement. Lead cross-organizational communities of practice to enable federated AI-driven process improvements. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors and services firms in advanced analytics, generative AI, and NLP to drive client value outcomes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related technical field. Experience leading, designing, implementing, and managing large-scale AI and machine learning solutions, including production-grade Generative-AI applications, ideally in a large multi-function financial services organization. Strong technical skills in AI technologies, including Azure and OpenAI; familiarity with building and operationalizing AI platforms with Model Garden and Control Plane, and Agentic AI. Experience executing strategic AI initiatives and aligning AI capabilities with organizational goals. Experience delivering AI solutions that accelerate productivity. Extensive experience with system architecture in a service-oriented enterprise environment. Experience building a Knowledge Base for AI, cloud migration, and cloud-centric engineering. Experience supporting AI Operations, observability, and incident management. Extensive experience with Agile practices including Scrum, Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD. Expert knowledge of project lifecycles, engineering principles, and complex problem-solving. Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Solid experience with Python and SQL. Desired Qualifications
Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field. Expert knowledge of banking/financial industry trends and products. Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade APIs. Experience working in an AI Center for Enablement. Hours
