Overview
Epitec is seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer to join our automotive client's team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and applying physics-based and data-driven system models to support calibration use cases in software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments. Responsibilities
Develop and apply system-level models (mechanical, electrical, thermal) for calibration in SIL/HIL environments. Validate models through testing, verification, and correlation. Collaborate with integration, design, and test engineers to meet interface and data requirements. Transfer research models into production programs. Standardize and automate modeling processes for robustness. Document and present technical findings. Top Qualifications
Required : BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. Experience in propulsion systems development and calibration. Proficiency in 1D simulation tools (e.g., Dymola, Simulink, GT-Suite, Amesim). Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Knowledge of EV/HEV/ICE systems, thermal management simulation, machine learning for reduced-order modeling, version control (GitHub), and GPDS familiarity. Seniority level
