Participates in the quality care of patients by providing medical physics services at or above state and federal requirements and meeting national standards of care in radiation oncology. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all. Supports the administration of the radiation safety program, including regulatory compliance, staff training, and supervision of radioactive source handling and disposal. Performs dosimetric calculations for external beam, brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceutical therapy, ensuring accurate treatment planning and delivery. Supervises medical physicist assistants or medical physics residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards. Conducts weekly chart reviews and other checks of treatment plans to maintain high standards of patient care. Qualifications
Master's Physics or Engineering Required 3 Work Experience Required Medical Health Physicist (MHP) Required Benefits
