Landscape Maintenance Technician
Join the Citizens team in a customer‑centric culture supported by a high‑performing Real Estate Operations division.
Responsibilities
Maintain grass, trees, shrubs, and ground surface covers.
Respond to colleague and business requested work orders and complete routine schedules.
Mow lawns by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
Plant, trim, and maintain flowers, grass, shrubs, bushes, and small trees.
Shovel snow from walkways and apply traction as needed.
Clean parking lots, sidewalks, and all exterior areas while performing routine groundskeeping.
Perform spring and fall cleanups to remove excess debris, leaves, and trim landscaping.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
Install new hardscaping, river rock, fencing, signage, and other furnishings as required.
Pressure wash building exterior and refresh parking lot painting as needed.
Clean gutters and roof drains of debris.
Respond to emergency and non‑emergency service requests and prioritize work order response.
Refer work to vendors if necessary via work order system.
Closing out work orders upon completion via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Maintain inventory and purchasing supplies at the best available price.
Communicate in a pleasant professional manner with internal and external customers.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized in a safe manner consistent with established standards.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
Experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks and pickup trucks with trailers.
Proven customer service experience.
Competent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to travel as required.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
Ability to work outside in all weather.
Track record of working independently and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, roof top).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education & Credentials
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Valid Drivers License, required.

Pay Transparency Salary range: $22.01 – $29.78 per hour. Pay based on location, skills, and experience.
