Overview
We are looking for a
Design Data Integrity Engineer
to join a leading eVTOL organization that is reshaping urban mobility through electric air travel. This role is focused on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of engineering drawings and CAD models across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with design teams to verify that engineering data meets drafting standards, supports manufacturability, and is ready for release. Your work will prevent downstream issues and improve overall design quality. About the Client: The client is developing next-generation electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Their mission is to make short-distance air travel a safe, sustainable, and everyday reality. With a strong emphasis on innovation and precision, they are a key player in the future of aerospace mobility. What You’ll Be Doing:
Act as a technical reviewer for engineering drawings and 3D models, ensuring they meet internal and external standards. Evaluate design documentation for clarity, completeness, and manufacturability. Provide actionable feedback to design engineers to improve drawing quality and reduce rework. Use CAD tools (NX, CATIA, CREO) to inspect models and verify dimensional accuracy. Support drawing release workflows within PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill. Collaborate with engineers across mechanical, electrical, and composite disciplines to maintain consistency in design practices. Participate in tolerance analysis and interface reviews to ensure proper fit and function. Help refine internal standards and best practices for design documentation and release processes. What You Bring:
5+ years of experience reviewing or producing engineering drawings in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries. Strong command of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and drafting principles. Hands-on experience with CAD platforms like NX, CATIA, or CREO. Familiarity with PLM systems and drawing release procedures. Ability to interpret complex design data and communicate findings clearly. A collaborative mindset and attention to detail. Nice to Have:
Experience working with flight hardware or regulated engineering environments. Exposure to model-based definition (MBD) and digital thread workflows. Background in mentoring or guiding teams on drawing standards. Knowledge of design for manufacturability and tolerance stack-up analysis. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who value precision and want to extend their impact beyond individual drawings. You’ll help define and refine the methods and standards that guide the organization, ensuring quality, consistency, and long-term sustainability in aircraft design.
