The Division of Trauma-Critical Care Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health is recruiting a BC/BE Trauma-Critical Care Surgeon to join our Level I Trauma-Critical Care Surgery program. This role involves expanding our clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities in collaboration with our Department of Surgery and academic partners. Responsibilities
Educate Creighton University’s surgical residents and medical students, and conduct research with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. Report to the Creighton & CHI Health Division Chief of Trauma-Critical Care Surgery. Participate in department-wide leadership opportunities based on experience, such as Vice Chair of Research. Provide support with APPs seven days per week. Work with three academic teams—Trauma, Surgical ICU, and Acute Care Surgery—each with assigned residents. Manage an average of four 24-hour call nights per month (not exceeding five). Contribute to approximately 13 work days per month. Enjoy a highly competitive salary guarantee and paid relocation expenses. Qualifications
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Trauma-Critical Care Surgery or relevant specialty. Valid and unrestricted medical license or license-eligible in Nebraska. Additional Details
