Job Description
Our client, a high-performing rehabilitation team affiliated with a world-class rehabilitation hospital in the New York Metro area, is hiring multiple
outpatient Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) . These roles offer the opportunity to work in modern, patient-centered clinics across Yonkers, White Plains, Purchase, Mamaroneck, West Nyack, Scarsdale, and Mount Vernon. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized system known for innovation, research, and excellence in rehabilitation medicine. The team promotes a culture of mentorship, flexibility, and professional growth, supporting clinicians at every stage of their careers. These positions offer consistent one-on-one patient care, 45-minute treatment sessions, and manageable caseloads in a supportive environment known for low burnout, high therapist retention, and a strong commitment to clinical quality.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for a diverse outpatient population. Support patients through therapeutic interventions and document treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Communicate effectively with supervising PTs, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current New York State PTA license (or eligibility to obtain one). At least 1 year of outpatient experience preferred; strong new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. A collaborative and patient-focused approach to care.
