About the Job Duties/Responsibilities: These positions are for Post-Doctoral Associates who will be conducting research in various areas of pharmacy. The selected candidates will be assigned to professors according to their research interests. These positions are generally limited to a period of five years.
Qualifications Required qualifications: Ph.D., Pharm.D. or equivalent terminal degree is required in a specific area of research.
Restrictions: Limited to a period of five years. Limited to fields for which post-degree training is necessary for career entry.
About the Department The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is nationally recognized for excellence in preparing pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, occupational therapists, and medical laboratory scientists to tackle society's toughest problems in Minnesota and across the globe.
The College offers degrees in the programs of pharmacy (PharmD, MS, PhD), occupational therapy (OTD), and medical laboratory sciences (BS, Certificate, MMLS, MS, and BLS).
The pharmacy program is offered on the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses. The occupational therapy program is offered on the Twin Cities and Rochester campuses. The medical laboratory sciences program is offered on the Twin Cities campus. Interactive technology is used to keep all campuses connected.
Pay and Benefits Pay Range: minimum $61,008; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
