The SLUCare Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hand surgeon with a specialized interest in microvascular surgery to join the Division of Plastic Surgery. About SLUCare and the Practice Setting

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, provides patient care across facilities including Saint Louis University Hospital (a busy urban level 1 trauma center), SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the VA Hospital, and two community hospitals within a single system-wide referral network. SLUCare supports clinical excellence, teaching, and research with an integrated plastic surgery residency and a research university campus. Our physicians educate the next generation of health care professionals at SSM Health St. Louis. Teaching is guided by Catholic Jesuit tradition, balancing science with compassionate care. Role and Qualifications

Position: Hand surgeon with specialized interest in microvascular surgery to join the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery. Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in hand surgery; eligible/certified for Surgery of the Hand (SOTH); passion for Plastic Surgery with focus on hand and upper-extremity reconstruction, microvascular and comprehensive reconstructive procedures. Cross-functional interests (e.g., breast reconstruction or lymphedema surgery) are welcomed. Practice Details

Clinical environment includes Saint Louis University Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and two community hospitals within a single system. SLUCare and SSM Health have partnered for decades to deliver exceptional medical services to patients and support more than 600 faculty and staff as part of an academic physician division, collaborating with more than 600 community-based providers across 50+ physician office locations and through virtual/digital health services.
