Overview

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek three clinical psychologists to join the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Duties And Responsibilities

Provide clinical evaluation and assessment, as well as individual and/or group psychotherapy. Work within interdisciplinary clinics in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health and OSUWMC, directing and/or providing care in accordance with the privileges granted by the governing body of University Hospitals and approved by the University Board of Trustees. Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits. Represent the program/Department by participating in committees, conferences, and representing OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements. Practice within the Medical Center policies, procedures, and protocols, and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center. Requirements

Doctoral Degree in Psychology. Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio. Applicants must be from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (with an accredited clinical internship) and be licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment. Preference given to candidates with previous training or experience in an academic medical center and at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience. Competence in technical clinical skills and the cognitive and interpersonal abilities to serve patients in the described services. How To Apply

Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) – Includes assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, and professor-clinical. Primarily focused on clinical care, with possible teaching and/or research duties. Not eligible for tenure; terms of three to five years with possible renewal. Tenure-Track faculty (regardless of rank) – Includes assistant, associate, and professor who are eligible for or have tenure. Primary focus on research, service, and teaching; MD or MD/PhD may involve clinical care.
