GP/UC Associate Veterinarian

Mission Veterinary Partners Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and Laser Center
is excited to announce that we are searching for an Experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team! This position offers a mix of GP weekday hours and weekend Urgent Care hours, aiming to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care. On weekends, there will be single doctor shifts to treat urgent and non-emergent cases.
We are open to Full-time or Part-time Doctors.
Urgent Care provides unique scheduling opportunities, and we are flexible to accommodate your preferences!
Minimum hours would be one weekend a month (Sat/Sun) with 12-hour shifts (8 a.m.-8 p.m.), and we are open to exploring combining GP weekday hours or additional UC hours to reach full-time.
About You You’re a well-rounded and energetic DVM looking for that perfect balance between primary care and emergency medicine. You enjoy managing a broad range of challenging cases that require urgent but not emergent care. You provide excellent care for your patients and clients, staying current with treatment modalities as a lifelong learner. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a good sense of humor—key to thriving in our culture. You value schedule flexibility, balancing hard work with self-care. You can triage patients based on case severity and manage multiple patients of varying priorities. We utilize the latest technology and support our veterinarians with access to boarded specialists for case consultations. Our support staff is well-trained and fully utilized, and our clients are loyal and appreciative of our care.
